Thank you for visiting our website!
Wigston Amateur Operatic Society started back in 1957 when we performed The Mikado to a small audience. From then on we have gone from strength to strength, performing a variety of modern and traditional productions (see our previous productions page for more details). Over 50 years on and we have more than 60 members. All from different walks of life each committed to ensuring that every show is a success.
Annually we perform at the Little Theatre, Leicester with an ethos for pushing the boundaries and trying something new and challenging. We also hold a fundraising Singing Concert biannually, this is held locally at supporting venues and embraces music for different genres.
We hope to continue to please our audiences for many years to come and thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you at our next show.
